The mission of ReSource St. Louis is to divert construction and demolition materials from local landfills by offering environmentally and financially responsible alternatives to the traditional construction process. Reusable construction materials become available whenever a demolition takes place. These materials are posted in a searchable database called the Materials Exchange.

The materials exchange website has been up and running for about three years now. The limited audience we have been able to reach has been very receptive and the site has been used and materials have been diverted from area landfills. However, this site has the capacity to do so much more. This free service would likely be a welcome addition to any company's facility management operations. We need help marketing the site and making waste diversion mainstream in St. Louis.
