Fifteen - twenty bouncers will present their 2-minute pitch to a group of judges and an auditorium full of people. Description The Skandalaris Seminar Series: Developing Entrepreneurial Skills, Perspectives and Relationships, is a free opportunity for entrepreneurs, their team members and supporters. In the first session from 1 – 2:30, Ken Harrington and Norty Cohen will lead a discussion on Idea Generation and Testing. This seminar will help early stage innovators understand their personal motivations and the development of an idea. From 2:30 – 4, a panel of start-up and experienced social and commercial entrepreneurs will give their perspectives on how they developed and utilized their own skills in implementing their ventures, and will conclude with a reception at 4:00PM.

Social Change IdeaBounce®

Description This IdeaBounce® is specially designed for undergrads with social change ideas to bounce. Every few months, we invite 10 to 15 people who have posted their ideas on the website to present a 2-minute pitch to our panel of expert judges. Not quite ready to present an idea? IdeaBounce® events are free and open to everyone so feel free to come listen to the pitches, and bring as many friends as you like. For those who do present, several winners are selected at each event each of whom walk away with a $100 prize and an invitation to dinner with the judges after the event. Talk about making connections. IdeaBounce® puts you face-to-face with the people who can help you get your idea off the ground.

Elevator Pitch Competition & Finalists Annoucement

Description You be the judge! Come hear elevator pitches from this year's Olin Cup semi-finalists. We'll provide you with an evaluation form, and if your ratings are closest to those of the judges, you'll find yourself $250 richer. And plus, you'll be providing our semi-finalists with valuable feedback on their ideas. This is a perfect opportunity to hear some great business ideas, find out who will make it to the next round of the Competition, network with our contestants and judges, and maybe even win a little cash.
